Terms of Service
Last updated: 4 October 2026
These terms govern your use of Vancely (the "service"), a product of Bytevancer: the website, dashboard and API. By creating an account you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the business you represent.
1. The service
Vancely lets you connect your own WhatsApp number as a linked device and send and receive messages through a REST API and webhooks. It is an independent service that works like WhatsApp Web, separate from Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform. WhatsApp is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.
2. Your account
- You must give accurate business and contact details and keep your password and API keys secret.
- You are responsible for everything sent from your account and your connected numbers, including by your API keys.
- You must be at least 18 and authorised to accept these terms for your business.
3. Acceptable use
You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. In short: only message people who expect your messages, never send bulk or unsolicited messages, and stop when someone opts out. We may pause numbers or suspend accounts that break it.
4. Risk to your WhatsApp number
WhatsApp may restrict or ban any number connected as a linked device, as with our service, at its sole discretion. Our guardrails lower that risk but cannot remove it. We do not guarantee that your number will stay active, and we are not liable for a number that is restricted or banned or for any loss that follows.
5. Plans, trial and payment
- New accounts get a 7-day free trial with limited usage. No card is required.
- Paid plans are billed in US dollars (USD) for the period shown on the plan. Invoices are issued in the dashboard and paid by bank transfer. A plan becomes active once we confirm the payment.
- Usage limits (numbers, messages per month and per day, webhooks, API rate) are part of each plan and are enforced by the service.
- If a subscription is not renewed, sending stops at the end of the paid period. Your data is kept as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise or we agree in writing.
6. Availability
We work to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted operation. Delivery depends on WhatsApp, on your phone staying linked, and on networks outside our control. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
7. Your data
You own the messages and contact data you process through the service. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to message your recipients.
8. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, fail to pay, or if required by law.
9. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or banned numbers.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; material changes are announced by email or in the dashboard. These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan.
