Sub-processors

Last updated: 4 October 2026

A sub-processor is a third party that may process personal data on our behalf when we provide Vancely to you. We keep this list short on purpose: the fewer parties that touch your data, the better.

Current sub-processors

ProviderPurposeData involvedLocation
HostingerServer hosting: the virtual private server that runs our application, databases and queues. All service data we hold, including message content while it is being delivered.Hostinger data centre
CloudflareDNS for our domain, and content delivery and security protection for traffic to our website and API.All traffic to our website and API as it passes through, including IP addresses and the contents of requests and responses (for example messages sent through the API), processed in transit.Global network

What we run ourselves

  • Email. Service emails (such as password resets and invoices) are sent from our own mail server, so no outside email provider handles them.
  • Deployment and operations. We deploy and manage the service with software we host on our own server, not a third-party platform.
  • No analytics or advertising providers. We do not send your data to analytics, advertising or tracking services.

WhatsApp

Messages you send and receive through Vancely are carried by WhatsApp, the messaging channel you choose to use and connect with your own number and account. WhatsApp's handling of those messages is governed by your own agreement with WhatsApp and its terms and privacy policy, so we do not list it as our sub-processor. We pass messages to WhatsApp only as needed to deliver them.

Changes to this list

We update this page before a new sub-processor starts processing personal data for us. If you object to a new sub-processor on reasonable data protection grounds, tell us at support@bytevancer.com and we will work with you on it, as described in our Data Processing Addendum.
